Job Steps:
- Inspect TTT coolers and job evaluation
- Source correct fittings for job completion
- Pre-Flush borescope inspection imagin
- Flow Test pre-flushed coolers
- Pre-clean flushing to remove loose debris
- Chemical introduction for descaling corrosion
- Post clean borescope inspection imaging
- Coolers filled for transport with storage fluid
Job Evaluations:
- Pre-flush flow rate evaluation
- Cooler 25mm Port – 15 litres / minute
- Cooler 40mm Port – 25 litres / minute
On borescope inspection, significant corrosion and flow inhibiting material was found.
- Post-flush flow rate evaluation
- Cooler 25mm Port – 50 litres / minute
- Cooler 40mm Port – 60 litres / minute
On borescope inspection post-flushing images were obtained.
As you can see by the before and after flushing borescope images the contaminant has been very efficiently removed and this is reflected well in post-flushing flow rates.
It is important to note that whilst these coolers were chemically cleaned and flow rates restored in our Redhead workshop that we can achieve the same result underground in situ with one of our purpose built flushing rigs.
